Muslims are encouraged in the Qur’an 47:24 to ponder the verses of the Qur’an itself, and to do their best to not get too attached to this temporal existence and its trappings. In Islam, worldly life is a test; success and failure lead to paradise and hell, respectively.
The Christian ideology is much the same. Being in this world but not of it is a major component in many religions. I am not Muslim, but reading your posts helps me realize we should all respectfully coexist. Blessings.

As a Christian and a Bible reader, I also am aware of how the “tares in this life” can be burdensome. Most of us strive for much more than we really need. Thanks for visiting me today.

I don’t know the Qur’an … I know OF it, but that’s it. I was not raised with it.
But that is true!! Do not get too attached to existence, that is short and ends anyway… and I do believe life is a test and preparing you for other things
Very interesting

I understand that this life is filled with tests and we shouldn’t get attached to this temporary world. But what about the time when it’s a total hellhole and you want an escape route? Sometimes it feels like I have reached a dead end. I want peace and happiness but I hardly get that.

I am amongst those who believe life can be well understood out of our comfort zone, it is from those times that we will learn to be patient not only with others but mostly ourselves. And the best thing when you feel like there is no way out, is to praise your Lord and tell Him that, so long as He created you He also knows what you can take and what you can not so He will get you through it but not by being mean or bad to those whom we may think have put us into those situations. As we muslims we believe Almighty God will not burden you beyond what you can bear. Peace can be attained by counting more of our blessings rather than what we consider ‘curse’.. ❤️

Wonderful. Heaven and hell are both here in this plane, a test as you write, will we choose pain and suffering, or bliss. Thank you for the post. Be well. 🙂
